Häagen-Dazs Café, France
On the largest and most famous avenue in Paris, Champs Elysées, one of Häagen-Dazs flag ships is situated.
The ice cream shop is three stories and contains sections like a lounge bar, a Gold room and a big terrace were you can enjoy your ice cream whilst watching people as they go by.
Cold air was coming in through the entrance and both the guests and employees were exposed to the cold draught.
The solution was to install air curtains in the entrance. Two tall and discreet AGV are positioned above each other to cover the entire opening. The bottom unit blows heated air to give comfort while the top unit separates the outdoor air from the indoor air, and no heat is required. With this solution, the cold air stays on the outside at the same time as no unnecessary energy is spent.
