Lotte World Tower, South Korea
A new skyscraper, Lotte World Tower, is under construction in Seoul, South Korea. The building will reach a height of 556 meters with 123 floors and, when completed, it will be the tallest building on the Korean peninsular.
The inspiration for the interior is taken from traditional Korean art forms and the elegant tapered shape of the exterior makes a beautiful monument in the city skyline. Lotte World Tower is located in the large Lotte World complex which includes the world's largest amusement park. The skyscraper will contain shops, offices, apartments and a luxury hotel, the top floors are for the general public with viewing stations and a roof top cafe.
There are 75 air curtains from Frico installed in Lotte World Tower, the models are PA2220CE10 and PA2520E16. During construction great environmental responsibility has been taken using solar panels, wind turbines etc. The air curtains are a part of the deliberate environmental plan. The air curtains are located at the entrances to protect the indoor climate and contribute to a comfortable and energy efficient solution.
