Liseberg, Sweden
With 42 rides, wheels of fortune, shops, exhibitions as well as music stages, Liseberg is the largest amusement park in the Nordic region. In order to improve the working environment both infrared patio heaters and air curtains from Frico have been chosen.
More than 2500 people work at Liseberg, which is located in central Gothenburg, Sweden, attracting approximately 3 million visitors each year. The amusement park is Sweden's most popular tourist attraction and is open for three seasons during the year; Summer, Christmas and Halloween. Temperatures can drop during the Scandinavian summer, and definitely do so during the autumn and winter months, which in turn places higher demands on employees working on the outdoor rides and wheels of fortune.
Both CIR and ELIR infrared patio heaters have been installed which provide heating for those working on the wheels of fortune. An IHC infrared patio heater has also found a home in the new Chocolate wheel of fortune stall, where you are able to win good quality, Anton Berg Danish chocolates.
New since 2017 is Klubbland, an interactive exhibition about Swedish musician Håkan Hellström. The exhibition is on display until further notice. A PA2500 air curtain is situated at the entrance ensuring that the indoor climate remains at the correct temperature resulting in reduced energy loss. Several shops in the park have been able to solve climate separation issues using Frico's PA air curtains.
