Panel Heaters Make Waiting for the Train Comfortable

When Stockholm South station was built, three requirements were posed of the heating solution:

• It had to give sufficient heating in the waiting areas and escalator halls.

• The heaters were to require minimal maintenance.

• Be able to tolerate wear in an acceptable manner.

The final choice was Frico Thermocassette which was able to maintain the temperature within the glazed areas at a comfortable level without any difficulties. Thanks to the ceiling installations, the cassettes are well protected from disturbance and damage. The high location means that the cassettes can keep themselves clean over a long period which means the need for maintenance is minimal.
